Sequence Inc. Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation
Tracy L. Coenen, CPA, MBA, CFE has a depth and breadth of experience not often seen in a solo practitioner. In addition to a strong educational background, she has critical certifications and experience in a wide variety of industries.
She is adept at providing assistance to counsel in high-stakes litigation either in the capacity of a consulting expert, or as a testifying expert. Tracy’s strengths include explaining complex financial and accounting concepts to attorneys, judges, and juries, as well as identifying and presenting the most compelling pieces of evidence in cases.
Her forensic accounting and fraud examination skills have helped companies find and prove fraud, and have also helped the accused defend against claims of fraud. Tracy analyzes complex transactions and situations to identify suspicious transactions, provide clarity on unresolved issues, quantify values in dispute, and investigate allegations of fraud.
Because Tracy’s work is so focused, she rarely encounters conflicts of interest, and can offer an independent and unbiased analysis of a case. She has provided assistance to both plaintiffs and defendants, and has been qualified in both state and federal court as an expert witness on financial and accounting matters.
